INTERNATIONAL HOUSE (IHOUSE)
In the International House (iHouse) Living Learning Community, UD students live among other international and domestic students with a passion for traveling the globe.
Second year UD World Scholars are required to live in iHouse, and all upperclass undergraduates are encouraged to consider living in this globally-focused residence hall. You'll live with and learn from students from around the world and have the opportunity to participate in monthly programming that will help you build international friendships, develop intercultural skills and broaden your global perspectives.
Every year we close Ray Street for our annual block party, celebrating the iHouse community with food, games, music, and fun and host iHouse Culture Nights throughout the semester. We invite you to come and explore iHouse!

Haunted iHouse Block Party
We're shutting down Ray Street for some Halloween fun!
The research shows that students who live in University residence halls perform better academically and are more connected to their peers, leadership opportunities and campus organizations, to name a few. Plus, living on campus reduces the need for private transportation expenses.
At the iHouse, you will reside among fellow international and American students with a passion for traveling the globe. You'll make new friends and help build a community that spans nations and breaks down barriers.
The benefits don't end there. While living in the iHouse you'll experience traditional college life-- only better! Enjoy opportunities to explore cultures, prepare special foods, plan internationally-themed programs and bring your community together for fun.
iHouse is a secure, suite-style hall equipped with its own parking lot, a basketball court, communal kitchen, piano and indoor study and meeting spaces. The hall features two-room suites with a connecting bath.
A Welcome Home for UD International Students
As you explore on-campus housing options, we encourage you to consider UD's International House (iHouse) Living Learning Community. After all, iHouse isn’t international without you!
As an international resident, you'll make new American friends who are eager to introduce you to American experiences-- and are equally as excited to know more about where you come from. We empower students to bring their "home away from home" to life! Enjoy opportunities to decorate your shared spaces, prepare special foods, plan internationally-themed programs and bring your community together for fun.
