Before You Arrive

A Pre-Arrival Webinar Series for New International Students


CGPS presents the Before You Arrive (BYA) webinar series as an optional resource for new incoming international students at UD. The series will include virtual and hybrid events and will help new international students to:

  1. Prepare for their arrival to the United States and Newark, Delaware.
  2. Understand where to find support and resources on campus to help with transition and adjustment at the University of Delaware
  3. Meet fellow new and current international students at the University of Delaware
     

BYA 1: January 5 - Travel and Immigration Preparation

BYA 2: January 12 - Housing (for Graduate Students)

BYA 3: January 19 - Managing Your Finances in the U.S.

BYA 4: January 26 - Understanding Healthcare in the U.S.

 

Note that you will need to register for the BYA webinars and then a Zoom link will be provided to you. If you have never used Zoom, learn about it here.
