Welcome to Residence Life & Housing!
We're here to help. As we navigate creating a healthy and safe on-campus home for your student, we welcome your questions and your partnership.
Just as we work with you, we partner with students to create welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive residence hall communities. Students do more than simply live in our halls; they take the opportunity to learn and engage as they develop as citizens and leaders.
December Break Application Open November 17—December 14
For December Break, students living in the residence halls (except apartments) should plan to leave the halls within 24 hours of their last final exam and no later than December 16 at 10 p.m. when residence halls close for break. If you need to request a late stay for an exam, or plan to stay on campus for the full break, you'll need to fill out the December Break application in the My Housing Portal. Apartment residents who are returning for spring will keep access to their room during the break and don't need to check out or complete a break application. Learn more about December Break processes on the Application Guide page.
Winter Session Housing is offered January 2–February 4, 2023. It's a great time for students to earn additional credits or participate in co-curricular opportunities. There is no additional fee for Winter Session housing, but students not living in apartments do need to purchase a meal plan. Some students will need to submit an application to gain access to their room. Learn more on the Application Guide page.
The Winter Session housing application will open in the My Housing portal on October 25 with a priority deadline of December 5 at 5 p.m. Applications submitted after the priority deadline may result in delayed processing and communication from our office.
