Get to know our halls
Each year, we house around 7,000 students in over 40 buildings on four areas of campus: Central, East, Laird and Apartment-style living. Central campus hosts our most historic buildings, lining The Green and offering a nostalgic collegiate atmosphere. East of Academy Street and Perkins Student Center, you can find East campus, home to two-thirds of the University's first-year population. North of the Little Bob, you'll find Laird Campus, home to all of our suite-style rooms. Learn more about events, in-hall staff and layouts of the individual buildings below!
The UD campus is smoke free.
All on-campus residence halls and apartments have a fire alarm system and fire protection sprinklers.
The traditional and suite-style residence halls have both an ethernet connection and wifi via Eduroam. University Courtyard Apartments is wireless only.
To have beds bunked or unbunked, students can email email@example.com after they arrive to campus.
NOTE: Furniture could change at any time and some rooms may have different pieces in a space. Information provided on building pages is intended to help residents prepare, but all rooms may not exactly match due to occupancy changes and/or replacing furniture.
