Local food resources for you and your family
Delaware 211 referrals and resources.
Delaware 211 is the “one-stop-shop” for community services like legal assistance, help with substance abuse, housing assistance and more.
Now, they also have an area specific to COVID-19 support, which includes child care and emergency food assistance. You can call 2-1-1 for help to find your local food distribution, food pantries or for assistance signing up for SNAP benefits. You can even text your ZIP code to 898-211 to find food sites in your area!
SNAP/Child Care/General Assistance
If you and your family need food, housing, or medical benefits, programs are available! Visit the Division of Social Services website to learn more and apply online. If you need assistance with any of these tasks, 2-1-1 (discussed above) is available to help you navigate the process.
