Recipe: Cucumber Smoothie

Even though cucumbers are 96% water, they are still a great source of nutrients like Vitamin C, K and potassium. This green vegetable can often be found in many salads, or even in smoothies — as in this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced cucumbers
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 head of celery
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in blender.
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Enjoy!
