The University of Delaware’s Cooperative Extension and College of Agriculture & Natural Resources encourage all individuals to participate in its programs. 

The USDA non-discrimination statement is used for all public notifications regarding USDA-assisted programs.

 

Full Statement

This full statement shall be used on all print and digital public notification materials that are large enough to do so:

In accordance with Federal law and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin (including English proficiency), religion, sex, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs)”   

 

Abbreviated Statement

This abbreviated statement may be used in the same font size as the notification text on notifications too small to incorporate the full non-discrimination notice:

 

"This institution is an equal opportunity provider.”

 

For programs jointly offered by UD Cooperative Extension and Delaware State University Extension:

 

Full Statement:

“In accordance with Federal law and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, Delaware Cooperative Extension (University of Delaware and Delaware State University) is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin (including English proficiency), religion, sex, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.
