UD’s Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics is offering two webinar series to help Blue Hens in all stages of their careers navigate these unprecedented times.
Connect with alumni, students, faculty and staff on this free professional development and career resource, featuring professional networks in every industry and regional groups for a convenient way to connect with Blue Hens in your area. Features include discussion boards, webinars and articles with career tips, video call integration and more.
Students and alumni have been displaced from jobs or are seeking out opportunities to gain professional experience through internships, jobs and gigs. The UD Career Center, Lerner Career Services Center and Graduate Student Professional Development are ready to work with you to recruit and hire talented Blue Hens for a variety of roles:
- If you have a full-time, part-time, internship or temporary position available or are willing to make an introduction to your recruiting team, we are ready to work with you through our Hire a Hen Program to help you easily recruit UD talent through Handshake
- If you have a short-term project (10-40 hours), please consider posting it on Parker Dewey. From there, you can vet candidates from the University of Delaware who are eager to showcase their knowledge and skills while making a positive contribution to your organization.

Registration for the 2021 Virtual Winter Job Shadow Program is now open to alumni! This year we have transitioned the program to 1-hr informational interviews over Zoom. Sign up to host a UD student for a virtual job shadow this winter by emailing Ryan Fuller at RFuller@udel.edu.
If you need assistance with a short-term work project, consider offering a Blue Hen a project-based, three- to five-week internship during winter term. The University of Delaware Career Center staff will help match your needs wit ha student who has the drive and skills required for the position.
