Blue Hens Give Back
Join over 3,500 Blue Hen volunteers each year who give their time and talents to make a difference on campus and close to home. At UD, we offer a variety of opportunities for our Blue Hens to be involved with everything from serving as reunion ambassadors, planning events for Blue Hens in your local community, mentoring current students to opportunities that can be completed in a day or even an hour.
Help students prepare for life after UD by becoming a mentor and connecting students to career opportunities through Hire a Hen, Job Shadow opportunities and the UD Career Mentoring Program.
Discover volunteer opportunities in your local community by connecting with Regional Blue Hen Networks, attending local Admissions events and hosting UD students for a meal who are currently visiting in your area.
Help encourage attendance and plan your milestone UD Reunion Celebration or get involved with Affinity Groups (student organizations, professional organizations) who share a similar interest. Engage our alumni community through programming and events, awards, benefits and more by participating on the UD Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Strengthen the student experience by volunteering to speak to a class, participate as a panelist, serve on an advisory board or by participating in other academic opportunities. Sign up for a Volunteer Consultation to learn more.
