Master Gardener Workshops

Sunflowers

Garden workshops and events are held regularly throughout the year and in each county.

Learn about things like growing your own berries, how to understand soil health and which plants are native to your home! Our Master Gardener volunteers provide hands-on instruction to help even beginning gardeners make the best of their gardens.

Community Presentation

New Castle County Master Gardener (MG) volunteers deliver research-based guidance, backed by hands-on experience, to help Delawareans cultivate their gardens and landscape their environments more successfully.

MG speakers deliver engaging presentations on a wide range of gardening topics, tailored to inform and inspire groups. Typical audiences include garden clubs, Homeowner Associations, and community or library groups of any size.

Each presentation lasts approximately one hour and includes relevant, practical guidance on the chosen topic.
