Check Student Visibility Settings
If you are using a combined Canvas site with student visibility exceptions, this is a quick way to check to see if any student enrolled does not have their visibility limited to their section only.
In Settings>Sections, click on the section name to expand each section and see students enrolled:
Review list of students to see if any of them do not have section-only access, and click that student name to open the record and make the visibility changes:
