Hey, Delawareans 12–15 years old!
If you're between the ages of 12-15 and want to be part of this challenge, join the Zoom link below for an informational session. We need our Delaware youth to think innovatively, use their talents, and develop their intelligence by working collaboratively. Let's make a difference together!
Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be a 4-H member to join the STEAM Team!
Why the STEAM TEAM?
The STEAM Team is Delaware's first collaborative youth group that uses a STEAM approach to explore the world! This is a new program brought to you by the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension's 4-H Youth Development Program and created by Twila Parish-Short.
Each STEAM Team program is designed around a 4-H National Challenge. This year's challenge, "The Power Protectors", helps youth explore the exciting world of renewable energies and how innovative technologies can help save our planet!
Volunteers needed!
Parents, grandparents, college students, high school seniors — We need you!
This STEAM Team is developed to get our Delaware youth thinking innovatively, we need youth to use their talents, and develop their intelligence working collaboratively. Are you someone who is interested in positively impacting our youth and community?
Volunteers are crucial to this program. You do not need a background in STEAM to be part of this experience. On the STEAM TEAM, youth drive their learning while volunteers offer support and guidance.
