Final Exam Scheduling
Step 1: Please filter your scheduling unit in CLSS to see if the current Yes/No final exam options are correct.
Please confirm the exam options with your faculty. If there are some courses missing from the list, they do not have a final exam option selected. Please make sure all courses have a final exam option selected by the designated deadline.
Please also confirm final exam options with any cross listing departments. Both departments must have the same final exam option.
Step 2: Make any Yes or No final exam option changes in CLSS, under the final exam option tab
A ‘Y (Yes)’ means that an exam day/ time/ room will be scheduled for the course, during final exam week, after the term has ended. A ‘N (No)’ means that the exam will not be scheduled, and that the course will not be included in the final exam list. If you have any questions, please contact kaloper@udel.edu.
- Final exams (counting 25% or more of the final grade) may not be given in undergraduate courses in the last five days of any regular semester, nor on posted Reading Days, but should be administered during the five day final exam period.
We will not process requests for specific times or dates. If the faculty member cannot be present to give their exam on their scheduled date, then they or their department will be responsible for finding an appropriate proctor
Any requests for common, or for three hour exams that we have not received by the designated deadline will not be accommodated.
No final exam changes will be made after the exam schedule has been posted.
Step 3: Submit any special requests (common exam, 3 hour exam, or common 3-hour exam) using the Final Exam Special Request form.
