Professional engagement
Athey is a registered landscape architect with experience in residential design, land use, and transportation planning. She is especially interested in habitat design and sustainable landscapes. For the Delaware Nature Society, she coordinates the annual native plant sale, and is a member of Delaware’s Native Species Commission.
