    It has been quite a year getting back on campus again. Our students have powered through so many challenges and obstacles that it is hard to list them.     The MS in data science (MSDS) program is suspending the GRE requirement for spring and fall 2022 admissions applicants.
  • New Dual Degree Program Adds Data Science

    The Department of Mathematical Science is teaming up with the MS in Data Science (MSDS) to offer two new dual degree programs. The programs are the dual MSDS/Ph.D. in Mathematics and the dual MSDS/Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics. These dual programs offer the rigor of the Ph.D. degrees but incorporate the exciting and in-demand data science skills and knowledge.
  • Academic Changes to the MSDS Program

    The MS in Data Science prepares students for a dynamic field that is continually changing. The degree program itself needs to evolve to keep up with the needs of the field. Several changes submitted to the UD Faculty Senate process were approved for the 2021-22 academic year.
