Graduate Programs
We offer two master of science (M.S.) degree programs in Entomology and Wildlife Ecology and a Ph.D. degree in Entomology and Wildlife Ecology with two concentrations. Most of our students are supported on graduate research assistantships. Our faculty members are hands-on, working closely with the students to ensure their success.
Two graduate areas exist in the department, namely:
1. M.S. degree programs in Entomology and in Wildlife Ecology
2. Ph.D. degree program in Entomology and Wildlife Ecology
- Entomology Concentration (Ph.D.)
- Wildlife Ecology Concentration (Ph.D.)
Addtionally, our department offers a 4+1 in Environmental Education, where students earn B.S. and M.S. degrees in an accelerated timeframe; our nationally recognized faculty give students individual attention, including weekly check-ins.
Our department has a rolling admission policy. Prospective graduate students are required to have a departmental faculty advisor/mentor before they apply.
Get Started
The first step in the application process is to find a faculty mentor and advisor. For a full list, visit the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology faculty page. After one of our faculty members has agreed to mentor you, we encourage you to apply.
If you have any specific questions, please contact Deborah Delaney.
