donna paulhamus

Donna is the Nutrition Clinic Director and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Behavioral Health & Nutrition at the University of Delaware.  She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with experience providing medical nutrition therapy and managing clinical and public health research programs.  She earned her Master of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Delaware and her Bachelor of Science in Applied Nutrition from the Pennsylvania State University.  Before coming to the University of Delaware in January 2019, she worked as a Senior Research Manager at the Center for Health Behavior Research at the University of Pennsylvania where she managed studies focusing on food environments and their impact of public health.  As a Senior Research Associate at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, she managed research studies focusing on pediatric growth and bone assessment methods and performed adult and DXA bone density assessment scans as a Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CDT).  Her interests include nutrition assessment methods, nutrition education and disease prevention, and hunger and food insecurity.
