Sharp Campus in Lewes discussed the latest science and research on saltwater intrusion in coastal Delaware communities. Saltwater intrusion poses an existential threat for coastal communities, where even the smallest amount of seawater contamination can affect towns, local economies, and crops.

    UD students expand academic and cultural horizons through immersive Winter Session study abroad programs. From interning at fashion companies “down under” to getting a crash course in sustainable development in Patagonia, nearly 1,000 University of Delaware students explored all corners of the globe during the Winter Session. The College of Natural Resources program took students to Chile and Patagonia.
