Scholarly Activity

I am a recipient of the AABB-Fenwal Research Award for Transfusion associated Immunosuppression using CD4 cells and bioluminescence and the ASCLS Graduate Student Research Award for The Effect of recombinant bone morphogenetic protein-2 on hematopoietic stem cells. I authored the first Specialist in Blood Banking Study Guide and have written numerous book chapters and articles in hematology and immunohematology.
