Then she came across the University of Delaware’s food science program and immediately knew it was the right fit. Now she enhances her food science degree through internships and study abroad. -

She leads a multi-disciplinary international team responsible for human health science and environmental science disciplines in the development and defense of FMC Corporation's agricultural assets. As a Hispanic, first-generation college student, Carro believes in donating her time to inspire the next generation of scientists.
