2020 Agronomic Field Crop Tours-

Towards the end of the growing season, agriculture research stations across the U.S. invite stakeholders. e.g., Certified Crop Advisors, agriculture industry professionals, farmers, and and fellow Cooperative Extension colleagues from neighboring states to tour research plots.  

This tour outreach model provides a valuable opportunity for visitors to observe authentic growing conditions, and a venue where Extension professionals and their audience can engage in direct conversations and feedback. It is also an opportuntity to earn pesticide and nutrient management credits.

Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, and in an abudance of caution, we are joining other research stations in delivering this information virtually for the 2020 growing season. Our tours include agronomic,  vegetable and fruit updates on topics such as variety trials, pest and disease management, cultural practices, cover crop applications, irrigation and nutrient management and technology updates.
