Help us recognize UD alumni doing amazing things! The University of Delaware Alumni Association (UDAA) is accepting nominations for its Alumni Wall of Fame Awards and Outstanding Alumni Awards.

Nominations are due by Friday, Feb. 26, 2021. Follow the below criteria to help you decide which award best suits your nominees.

Outstanding Alumni Awards

The Outstanding Alumni Awards are presented annually to an alumnus and alumna in recognition of their exemplary work on behalf of the University of Delaware and/or the University of Delaware Alumni Association.

Criteria

• Nominees should exhibit exceptional volunteer work on behalf of the University of Delaware and/or the University of Delaware Alumni Association (service may be a single act or it may be a long record of participation or involvement)
• Business and professional accomplishments, community service, and other factors are considered secondary to University and/or Alumni Association volunteer service.
• Current University of Delaware employees, University trustees, and members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors are not eligible for consideration.

Alumni Wall of Fame

The Alumni Wall of Fame recognizes outstanding professional and public service achievements by University of Delaware graduates.

Criteria

The nominee is a University of Delaware alumnus/a who has:

• Made a significant contribution to further his/her profession
• Significant career accomplishments and achievements
• Maintained a relationship with UD
• Been involved in his/her community

Award recipients will be recognized at a virtual event and their names will be engraved in a wall in the Alumni Circle on campus.
