Dr. Moody's teaching and scholarly interests focus on maternal-child and neonatal health, evidence-based nursing education, breastfeeding support, and infant feeding practices. She incorporates active learning and high-fidelity simulation experiences to enhance students' clinical judgment, communication, confidence, and readiness for professional practice. Her research examines infant feeding decision-making and the impact of feeding choices on gut microbiome composition and infant health outcomes. She is committed to fostering engaging learning environments that bridge classroom knowledge and clinical practice while preparing future nurses to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
