UDPride Alumni Network: 2025-2026 News and Updates

The UDPride Alumni Network actively participates and invests in programs that connect with and benefit the larger UD and LGBTQIA+ community.

In the third year since its conception in 2023, the network hosted a Drag Show Bingo over Alumni Weekend 2025, featuring our very own Drag Bear of Delaware, Jolene Cuisine!

What’s next in 2026:

Save the date! Here are events that we look forward to welcoming our LGBTQ+ alumni, allies, and friends in 2026:

Saturday, April 4, 1-3 p.m. | Ice Cream Social with Alumni and Students with a tour of the Center for Intercultural Engagement
Registration will be sent via email in February.
Saturday, May 30, Noon-2 p.m. | Drag Show Bingo at Alumni Weekend
Registration will open end of March.
Saturday, June 6 | Delaware Pride Festival Gathering in Dover, DE

UDAB & UDine 2026: Service, Stories, and Shared Meals

This spring break, 75 University of Delaware students traveled to five cities to participate in hands-on service with nonprofit partners through the UD Alternative Breaks (UDAB) program.
Volunteer Shout-Outs - June 2026

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations relies on a team of dedicated Blue Hen volunteers to strengthen the connections between alumni, students and the University through a variety of programs and events. Volunteers' many contributions include planning and helping to lead regional, affinity and reunion events, offering mentorship and professional development opportunities to students and serving as proud ambassadors of UD.
Blue Hens Forever

The Blue Hens Forever sculpture, a striking bronze statue of UD’s mascot near Alumni Circle, was installed in a space between Alumni Hall and the Carpenter Sports Building.
