iMusic 13: Burning Ice | An Earth Day Celebration
Saturday, April 24 | 3 p.m. ET / Noon PT

Tune in to this family-friendly livestream celebrating Earth Day, with a special emphasis on environmental issues. "Burning Ice" will include the largest number of UD faculty and alumni performers, composers and visual artists in iMusic's 13-year history, and will feature world premieres of original and reimagined music in the genres of baroque, romantic, funk, jazz, film soundtrack, and more.

Green Energy Technology

A UD spinoff company led by Professor Yushan Yan was selected for the Shell GameChanger Accelerator program, which is geared toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions by finding renewable ways to power the American manufacturing industry.

Combating Plastics Waste

In the U.S., less than 9% of plastics waste is recycled. To combat this societal problem and environmental threat, researchers from UD's Center for Plastics Innovation have developed a method to convert single-use plastic waste to ready-to-use molecules for jet fuels, diesel and lubricants.
