UD's second annual AiM Higher conference

Build your generative AI roadmap

The University of Delaware will host the second annual AiM Higher: East Coast AI Conference from June 9-11, 2026, on STAR Campus in Newark, Delaware.

What is AiM Higher?

AiM Higher is a dynamic, hands-on conference designed to move institutions from abstract AI theory to proof of concept deliverables. Through case-based scenarios and an integrated AI Makerspace, attendees work to bridge the gap between AI strategy and real-world execution.

Conference highlights

What makes AiM Higher unique:

  • Problem-Based Learning Model: A hands-on experience for all higher education professionals, providing them with the opportunity to build working AI solutions prototypes in alignment with real institutional challenges.
  • Pathfinder Fellows: Learn from peer institutions on how they are successfully navigating complex AI implementation hurdles.
  • Integrated AI Makerspace: Partner with technical experts and build prototypes of your ideas through the integrated AI Makerspace.

UD and AI innovation

AiM Higher is a natural extension of UD's commitment to leading AI innovation in higher education. UD continues to position itself at the forefront of AI in higher education through programming and initiatives such as UD Study AiDE, Graduate Programming in Generative AI (Graduate Certificate in Generative AI for Business, MBA Artificial Intelligence, and Applied Artificial Intelligence for Business), and First State AI Institute Working Groups. This collaboration between Academic Technology Services, First State AI Institute, and Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics is a solutions-driven, hands-on experience unlike other conferences.
