The Reimagining PedAIgogy: AI Literacy for Educators series returns this fall with a sharper focus on using AI to build workflows, along with evaluating whether those workflows hold up. This semester's first sessions will run in October, open to instructors, researchers, teaching assistants, corporate affiliates and other instructional-facing professionals. These sessions are offered by the Center for Innovation in Lifelong Learning & Teaching (CILLT), the Library, Museums and Press, and higher education partners.

October sessions:

• Accelerating Your Research with AI while Still Writing Every Word (Oct.1, 12–1 p.m.): This session, headlined by José Antonio Bowen, co-author of Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning, walks through building a research workflow where AI verifies citations, manages your bibliography and tests your arguments, while you make every decision and write every word.
• Creating Learning Environments Where Everyone Flourishes (Oct. 7, 12–1 p.m.): AI, mental health literacy and ethics of care, brought together into practical strategies for student well-being, belonging and equitable learning.
• AI Literacy: Choosing and Using AI Tools Ethically for Your Research (Oct. 13, 12-1 p.m.): Fundamentals of AI tools and how to select the right ones for your academic research goals.
• Objective to Practice: Turning a Vague Development Goal into an Observable Skill with AI (Oct. 20, 12–1 p.m.): A tool-agnostic AI workflow that turns a vague development goal into a competency, observable behaviors and a goal someone can act on. Bring one vague goal; leave with a skill card.
