Research Data and Design Commons

Located in the lower level of the Morris Library, the Research Data and Design Commons can support your technology-based research needs. The Research Data and Design Commons is composed of several spaces, including a Creative Technology Instruction Room, a Data Analysis and Visualization Lab, four video and audio editing studios, and a sound studio. We also loan over 100 equipment kits, such as video cameras, light kits, digital voice recorders, cell phone accessories for video production, and GoPros from our service desk. We have experts on staff that hold consultations and instruction sessions for topics such as research data management, video and audio production, creating graphs and charts, statistics and data analysis, and graphic design.

Our Creative Technology Instruction Room is Open Access and has computers available for use of the Adobe Creative Cloud and other media production software.
