Faculty Senate meeting

Senate discusses academic freedom

The University of Delaware Faculty Senate met on Monday, March 2, in Purnell Hall.

The Senate discussed academic freedom and changes to several policies, including undergraduate admissions, posthumous degrees and grade grievances. President Laura Carlson and Interim Provost Bill Farquhar provided updates on multiple initiatives. Trevor A. Dawes, the vice provost for libraries and museums and May Morris University Librarian, delivered a presentation about library resources for faculty members.
