FSCP honors employees and teams

Facilities Services and Campus Planning recently recognized outstanding employees and teams during its annual awards ceremony
Facilities Services and Campus Planning (FSCP) recently honored several employees and teams during its annual Town Hall awards ceremony, recognizing excellence in teamwork, innovation, customer service and leadership.
The Exceptional Team Award was presented to the M&O Purchasing Team — Brie Thompson, Vijay Akala, and Jennifer Simms — for their dedication in supporting campus operations, implementing new processes and ensuring maintenance staff have the supplies needed to keep the University running smoothly.
The Innovation Award was awarded to Grounds Technicians Wayne Johnson, John “Sam” Reynolds and Dominic Bouchard for developing creative solutions that improved efficiency, safety, logistics and facility utilization across campus.
Dwayne Griffin, a certified HVAC mechanic, received the Exceptional Customer Service Award for his outstanding support of campus partners, technical expertise and commitment to going above and beyond for customers.
FSCP also presented two Outstanding Employee of the Year Awards. Steve Duke, arborist group leader, was recognized for his expertise, leadership and contributions to maintaining the beauty and safety of the University landscape. Steve Brittingham, HVAC technical team leader, was honored for his exceptional leadership, mentorship and more than 26 years of dedicated service to the University.
