Register now for Spring 2026 Open Teaching Days

CTAL invites UD faculty, staff and graduate students to experience undergraduate courses

The Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning (CTAL) is hosting its Spring 2026 Open Teaching Days throughout the week of March 9-13, 2026. Registration for the event is now open.

The purpose of this event is to elevate the visibility of engaged teaching on UD’s campus by offering members of our teaching and leadership community the chance to be in the room where it happens. This year attendees can choose from 14 undergraduate course class sessions and one Athletics practice, taught by faculty, coaches and instructors from a wide range of schools and departments, including biology, chemistry, the English Language Institute, history, hospitality business management and women’s soccer. If you want to experience teaching and learning from the student perspective here at UD, now is your chance.

Additionally, CTAL will host a Brown Bag lunch on Friday, March 13, from 12-1:30pm in Trabant 209/211 to provide all the opportunity to meet with other attendees and course instructors. CTAL will provide drinks and desserts.
