Editor's note: Canvas service has been restored following the recent vendor security incident and related maintenance activities. UD Information Technologies (UDIT) worked closely with the vendor throughout the event and continues to monitor services to ensure ongoing stability. At this time, there is no indication that University systems were compromised. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this disruption.
UD Information Technologies (UDIT) is aware of a reported security incident involving Canvas, the University’s learning management system (LMS).
Canvas is currently unavailable. UDIT is actively working with the vendor to gather additional information and assess any potential impact to University systems and data. The incident did not originate from University systems.
We understand the importance of Canvas to teaching and learning activities and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
