Explore advanced AI applications in teaching this March, April

The AI for Teaching and Learning Working Group extends a warm invitation to the UD community to attend the spring 2025 Reimagining PedAIgogy: AI Literacy for Educators workshop series. Building on the momentum of February's sessions, March and April offer an expanded curriculum designed to explore the nuances of AI integration in academic life.

These interactive workshops, offered virtually, provide educators, researchers and staff with actionable strategies and insights. Seize the opportunity to collaborate with peers and learn from experts.

Highlighted sessions include:

AI’s Hidden Fears: Navigating Inherent Bias & Hallucinations (March 11 & 19):

Understand the critical importance of addressing bias in AI for educational settings. This session will provide practical methods to identify and mitigate bias, ensuring AI tools are used responsibly.

Reimagining AI in Teaching and Learning: Faculty Perspectives on AI Integration (Panel), (March 12):

Discover how faculty are actively using AI in their teaching through structured use case presentations. Panelists will share their AI strategies, tools and results, highlighting both challenges and achievements. This virtual session offers practical, peer-driven learning, followed by a live Q&A.

Using AI to Generate Videos to Enhance Course Materials (April 1):

Learn to create engaging course videos with AI, no tech skills required. This workshop explores user-friendly platforms that convert text to video, offering practical strategies and best practices.
