UD Police investigate minor arson incident in north campus residence hall

University of Delaware Police are investigating a recent report of arson in a residence hall on North Campus that involved burning of paper decorations causing minor damage.

While there were no injuries and only minor damage, such incidents have the potential to become dangerous, and this case is being investigated thoroughly with assistance from Residence Life staff. Responsible parties will be referred to Community Standards and Conflict Resolution and may also face criminal charges. Anyone with information is asked to contact UD Police.

Members of the University community are reminded to be vigilant: If you see something, say something. Be aware of your surroundings, and call 911 to report suspicious activity.
