Walktober 2022

Registration now open for this physical activity challenge

Lace up your sneakers, Walktober is back! In this six-week physical activity challenge, you will be inspired and motivated to move more this fall and get reconnected during various on-campus activities.

As you accumulate steps and activity minutes, you will virtually travel the world and explore scenic autumn locations, browse through fall images, receive weekly wellbeing tips and have access to a library filled with healthy recipes. All-Access Members may register as an individual, or as a part of four- to 10-person team. Your household members ages 13 and older may also participate.

Looking for ways to get moving? Join the UD Campus Coalition for Wellbeing and Mental Health for an on-campus walk, from noon-12:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13. This special event caps off a morning of celebration recognizing the University’s adoption of the Okanagan Charter, a commitment to facilitate holistic development and endeavors to help all Blue Hens thrive now and throughout their lives. Learn more and RSVP. Additional opportunities for in-person activity and connection will be announced throughout Walktober.

UD employees, retirees and household members may opt-in for All-Access Membership and register for Walktober all at once from the Welcome Page. Registration ends on Sunday, Sept. 25.
