University of Delaware students, faculty and staff can take advantage of UD’s online crowdfunding platform, HenFunder, for #GivingTuesday on Nov. 30. As the University’s second largest giving day of the year, the nationally recognized #GivingTuesday generates support for dozens of UD projects from the Blue Hen community and beyond.

HenFunder provides fundraising groups with tools for sharing their project and makes it easy for UD departments, programs and student groups of all sizes to effectively raise funds for campus projects and initiatives, athletic programs and other causes.

On the platform, new and returning UD supporters can explore the various fundraising projects online, and groups can communicate with their networks via social media and emails. Interested UD groups are invited to submit an application for their philanthropic project, which will then be reviewed by staff from UD’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations.

Applications are open now through Oct. 15.
