Peer mentors assist first-year, transfer Black students
The University of Delaware Center for Black Culture is hiring new peer mentors for the 2021-22 academic year. The center's Each One Reach One (EORO) program is designed to assist first-year and transfer Black students in their transition to UD.
The goal is to provide students with opportunities to create connections and to engage with programs and services that will help them excel academically, culturally and socially.
Invited to apply are full-time undergraduate students who are rising sophomores, juniors and seniors across all majors, with at least a 2.5 GPA or higher. Ideal applicants should be engaged on campus, knowledgeable of campus resources and invested in supporting the Black student experience at a predominantly white institution This is a one-year commitment.
