Call for Participants: FLC on Generative AI in Teaching and Learning
August 07, 2026
Join our Faculty Learning Community: Leveraging Generative AI to Improve Student Critical Thinking
We are soliciting interest for a Faculty Learning Community (FLC) on Leveraging Generative AI to Improve Student Critical Thinking. This learning community is open to all full time faculty at UD who are interested in the collaborative exploration of how and where intentional (non-)incorporation of generative AI at the course and program level can improve student critical thinking. Convened by CILLT's Andy Jenks and Associate Professor of MS Mark Serva, the FLC will meet in-person for monthly, 90-minute sessions during AY2026/27. All full time faculty who nominally conversant in the use of generative AI tools are welcome to express interest and we are especially interested in disciplinary diversity within the FLC.
