The University of Delaware’s next Parents and Family Weekend will be held Oct. 2-4, 2020. Registration for all activities will open online on Aug. 1. Students and their families interact with a variety of campus departments as well as peers throughout the weekend, furthering their engagement in the UD community and their familiarity with resources that support student success.

“It was great to see my child [and] spend time with her and her classmates and families,” said one respondent on last year’s post-program survey. Highlights of last year’s program included the Whose Live Anyway? comedy show, Blue Hen football game and tailgate, and an exclusive Coffee with the Dean breakfast reception in all seven undergraduate colleges.

Blue Hens of all years and ages enjoy this annual celebration. “Each year that we have come we are really coming just to see our son and have him walk us around to his classes and tell us about activities that are going on with his class, clubs, major, etc.,” one person said. “Each year I have always felt that you all put a tremendous amount of effort into making the weekend a huge success and I’ve enjoyed all four years for my visits.”
