The University of Delaware Writing Center will host three Dissertation Retreats this summer for doctoral candidates who are planning, drafting or revising their dissertations.

Participants in these weeklong retreats will spend a majority of their time writing in the Writing Center, breaking for lunch discussions on topics relevant to dissertations students, including motivation, goal setting and time management.

Morning coffee/snacks and lunch will be provided.

Participants benefit from the structured daily writing time and from the social support of other participants.

The retreats, each held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, are:

Retreat 1: June 17-21; application due June 2, with applicants notified about acceptance June 3

Retreat 2: July 8-12; application due June 23, with applicants notified about acceptance June 24

Retreat 3: August 5-9; application due July 21, with applicants notified about acceptance July 22
