No change in UD parking fees for 2019-20

University Parking Services announces additional changes

University of Delaware Parking Services is maintaining fees for campus parking at the current rate for the 2019-20 academic year. There will be no cost increase for permits or for events and hourly parking rates.

At the same time, some current programs will be expanded this fall. Changes for the coming year include:

  • Lot 16, Conover Apartments, has been designated central parking, changing from a restricted lot.
  • Lot 52, a new lot at University Courtyard Apartments, will be designated gray-east and will include resident student parking, single space meters, the PassPort app, and visitor pass parking.
  • STAR campus will have some on-street parking, and a 72-space lot at 225 Inspiration Way will open and be designated as gray-south parking. The on-street parking will have the PassPort app, and kiosks will be available for hourly parking.

Event parking will not change and may be requested via the event form found online.

Registration for the 2019-20 academic year will be available online beginning the first business day in August at the permits website. In-person sales will begin during move-in weekend (Aug. 24-25) at the Parking Services office, 147 Perkins Student Center.
