Benefit

If a scholarship is awarded, full or partial tuition is waived for a full-time matriculated undergraduate dependent child. A student may be granted a scholarship up to 4 years.

Application Process

The employee must log into web forms, select BEN Educational Benefits. Click the button for Tuition Exchange, complete the form accordingly, then select Submit. Up to five schools may be listed on the web form.

Limitations

The opportunity to participate in this competitive scholarship program is automatic for one child. However, additional slots are available (by lottery) for faculty who wish a second eligible dependent child to participate in TEP.

Employees who terminate their University employment are not eligible to receive Tuition Exchange for the full academic year. If the student is currently enrolled in a fall or spring semester, he or she will be able to complete that semester only. Employees should notify the UD Tuition Exchange liaison of their separation from the University.
