Build the mathematics behind data science
Every day, organizations collect enormous amounts of data—but making sense of it requires more than software. As a mathematics and data science major at the University of Delaware, you will learn how to uncover patterns, build models and use data to answer complex questions and support better decisions.
The interdisciplinary curriculum combines mathematics, statistics, computer science and data science. You will study subjects such as probability, linear algebra, mathematical modeling, optimization, algorithms and databases while developing the computational skills to work with complex data sets.
