University of Delaware faculty members are invited to participate in the faculty processional at the 2026 Commencement Ceremony on May 23.

The ceremony begins at 9:15 a.m. at Delaware Stadium. The deadline to register for the processional is April 6.

Faculty are required to wear regalia at Commencement. The Office of the Vice President and University Secretary will cover the cost of rented academic regalia for those who are participating in the ceremony. Those who need rental regalia may contact Lindsey Collins in the UD Bookstore at lkillmey@udel.edu by April 6.

Credentials are required for faculty to enter the stadium and to enjoy special faculty seating. Further instructions on how to obtain credentials, as well as how to pick up rental regalia, will be shared with those who indicate their desire to attend.
