Friday Roundtable: A Teaching Networking Session

Join faculty and staff from across UD for facilitated table conversations about teaching

The Friday Roundtables are monthly discussions (usually the first Friday of the fall and spring semesters, 3:30-5 p.m.) that provide an opportunity for faculty, instructors and graduate students to examine teaching, learning and assessment practices and issues.

For September, you'll be able to choose from several different topics, or you can spend the whole session deeply engaging on just one issue with a variety of other colleagues. Each table facilitator will offer some take-away insights, campus resources, or opportunities for future connections. Think of it as a combination of a resource fair and birds-of-a-feather session, or even as an unconference.

Topics may include: teaching politically charged subjects, generative AI in teaching, student wellbeing, getting students to read and new tech tools we’re loving. As always, our roundtables include drinks, snacks and a warm collegial atmosphere to engage with your colleagues.
