UD Capture: Sign up to record your fall classes by Aug. 21

Zoom-enabled recording system available in select classrooms

UD Capture +Zoom is installed in select classrooms, including newly added locations in Alison Hall and Ewing Hall. These classrooms support a traditional teaching environment and, if needed, hybrid participation.

Features include:

  • Automatic recording of your class sessions
  • Wireless laptop projection for in-room display and optional remote display
  • Improved recording layout options, including active speaker with gallery view
  • Real-time machine closed captioning via Zoom
  • Built-in room camera (optional, can be disabled), microphone, and speakers

In addition to classrooms enabled with UD Capture +Zoom, many classrooms are still equipped with UD Capture Classic. The system you’ll use depends on the classroom in which you are teaching. You can check which system is available in your assigned classroom by reviewing the list of UD Capture Enabled Classrooms.

Register for UD Capture for the fall semester using the online form. The form requires signatures from all instructors of record and a drop-down selection for each course section. To ensure recording begins on the first day of class, please submit your request by Thursday, Aug. 21.

If you're new to UD Capture or want a quick refresher before fall, drop by a UMS classroom technology orientation for a short (10-minute) session, including help with UD Capture Classic and UD Capture +Zoom rooms. Sessions will be held Aug. 19–21 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in 116 Purnell Hall.

Bring your device and RSVP here.
