The Community Music School presents 'The Little Mermaid'

Join us 'Under the Sea' for a family-friendly production Aug. 2-4

Join us inside the Roselle Center for the Arts where you’ll find a walking mermaid, singing sea creatures, a talking pelican, a live orchestra and more! Amongst all the imaginary elements are real life-lessons about dreams, choices, friendships and above all ... love! We’re ready to go “Under the Sea” and make new friends with Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless tale, The Little Mermaid.

The Community Music School is a developmental job program for UD music majors, providing undergraduate and graduate students with paid, professional teaching experience while connecting them to the broader community. CMS served 700 local students last year, ranging in age from infant to adult. During the summers, working professionals are hired to run our summer programs and serve as mentors to the college students. When you buy a ticket to our show, you'll not only enjoy the shared experience of live musical theater, but you'll be also supporting the UD college students as well as local school children who make up our actors and actresses, backstage crew and live musicians!
