Prevent Type 2 Diabetes with the UD Prevent T2 Program

For those who have prediabetes or are at high risk for type 2 diabetes, now is the time to take charge and make a change. The PreventT2 Diabetes Prevention Program can help.

As part of PreventT2 group classes, attendees will work with trained lifestyle coaches at UD to learn the skills needed to make lasting changes. Attendees will learn to eat healthy, add physical activity to their lives, manage stress, stay motivated and solve problems that can get in the way of healthy changes. For individuals with prediabetes, these lifestyle changes can cut the risk of developing type 2 diabetes in half.

Don’t miss out on this year’s program. The Nutrition and Health Coaching Clinics are offering the Prevent T2 program starting in February 2024. To find out more about Prevent T2 and learn more about eligibility to participate in this program, please call the Nutrition Clinic at 302-831-1165 or email us at nutrition-clinic@udel.edu.
