With fewer students on the University of Delaware campus this month, the evening shuttle program taking students to off-campus locations is not operating during Winter Session 2022 (Jan. 3-Feb. 5), as it was during the fall semester.

Riding escorts are provided from campus to campus locations during the evening hours, and the popular walking escort service conducted by the UD Police Department cadets continues to be available 24 hours a day/seven days a week, during Winter Session.

The off-campus transportation program will resume with the spring semester, which begins Feb. 7.

Members of the University community are reminded that information about safety services and resources are available on the UD Police website, which also includes instructions on how to download the LiveSafe App that leverages smartphone technology, such as GPS location, camera and text capabilities, to provide direct and seamless contact with the UD Police Department for a range of safety issues.
