Members of the University of Delaware community are invited to submit a fundraising project idea for I Heart UD Giving Day, UD’s largest day of giving. This year marks the fifth annual I Heart UD Giving Day, which will take place May 4, 2022.

Fundraising ideas can include research projects, service opportunities, support for a student program or initiative or other UD cause close to your heart. Approved fundraising projects will be posted to the I Heart UD Giving Day crowdfunding page which allows anyone to easily spread the word and share project links to their friends, families and networks. There are also challenge and match dollars available to use toward your project.

Those who submit projects can make the most of I Heart UD Giving Day by developing videos, sending emails, posting to social media and more. Fundraising groups will receive guidance from the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) in developing plans to help promote and secure funding for their projects. DAR also initiates its own marketing plan reaching more than 300,000 alumni, friends and community members encouraging them to participate in the giving day.
